Getting started: Start your BMW and access Navigation Maps. Press Options and navigate to Settings. Select Position & Version History > Version Information.

Critical information: If your software version shows P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, X, or Y following NBTEvo_ the USB coding method is not compatible. These systems require the cable coding version instead.

Systems with versions before P (earlier letters alphabetically) work with both USB and cable coding approaches.
