Choosing the right BMW map update is easy. Sit in your BMW and press the 'Nav' button, then the 'Option' button on your controller. Scroll to the last menu item 'Navigation System Version' — this shows the map version currently in your car (for example 'Road Map Europe Premium 2014-1'). Pick the update that matches that version. Other versions (Motion, Move, Next) won't work if your car is on Premium. If you're unsure, contact us before ordering.

Versions starting with O, N or M can be activated via USB or cable. Versions starting with P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, X or Y require cable coding — you'll need an ENET coding cable and a Windows laptop (Windows 10 or newer).
